This tiered (cellar, ground floor and first floor) family house was built near Pest and its main characteristic is the walnut tree around which the building was composed creating a half-atrium space.

The walnut tree is visible from most of the rooms and hallways, moreover it’s like it would be in arm’s length.

The walnut tree, constrained into the small atrium, functions as a cooling tower in the summer heat. This way there is 4-5 degrees less hot here on which the occupants often play.

The outer revetment is used brick in which the lengthened redwood windows emphasize the horizontal character of the house.

We were striving to create something like „natural modern” by the use of  furniture and  coating in the interior.

We preferred the use of natural materials both on the outer surfaces both in the interior and tried to create harmony between the exterior and the inside materials.

Wood is dominating in the interior however we made the revetment of the bathroom and the toilet of wood too beside the traditionally wooden covered  premises (rooms, living room).

We used ceramic coating in the spaces only where the clients asked for it (such as the children's bathroom, the cellar, and the shower).
